Why TRC?

Spiritual Family

TRC’s ministry is truly about restoring God’s people and helping them become disciples for Christ, that means that by joining our church you gain a new set of family members!

Church is a pivotal part of any believer’s life. It is a local community built by a collection
of believers to connect with one another, enrich the community and serve as a safe haven and
house of restoration to those in need. It is committed to bringing Christ to the forefront of our
lives through biblical-based teachings and obedience to all God’s commandments.

People and children of all ages at TRC are encouraged to learn about their own faith and the role of the church in our community and worldwide.

WE LEARN ABOUT THE LORD

At TRC we believe that the Scriptures are indeed inspired and the product of the breath of God. Our leaders are intentional about preaching the word of God in a relevant way that believers, new and old can relate to. Want to check past sermons?? What Does TRC Believe?

The Holy Trinity

The Holy Trinity: God exists as one unit made of three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. While each member serves a different function, they all share equal power.

Jesus: Is the only begotten Son of our heavenly Father who was sent to this world to die for our
sins. He was born of virgin birth and was a perfect man, who, because of His sacrifice for our
sins, we are now able to live our lives in eternity with the heavenly Father.

The Father: God is all-knowing and all present. He is a good God who loves His children. God is
light and in Him, there is no darkness at all. He deserves our unconditional love, relentless
pursuit, and unwavering trust. God is all-powerful and unchanging. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Holy Spirit: He comforts us, He is evidence of our relationship with Christ. The Holy Spirit
convicts us of sin and is to lead and guide us into all truths. He gives us spiritual gifts and assures us of our relationship with Christ.

More Beliefs of Our Faith

Five-Fold Ministry: This is made of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Both men and women are chosen for these positions in the body of Christ and these gifts are to be
used in the local church for the perfecting of the saints in order to equip other Christians to
carry out God’s plan for our lives.

Health & Prosperity: It is God’s purpose that all His children excel in life and are whole, healthy
and successful in all areas of their lives including spiritual, financial, mental health, physical and
etc.
Second Coming: We believe that Christ will return for His Bride (the Church) on a day and time unknown to Man therefore we are to live our lives every day in anticipation of His return.
Eternity: Either Man will live his life in eternity with Christ in fellowship and union through
repentance and salvation or separated from Christ by sin in hell. Heaven and Hell are physical locations of eternal existence.

Foundation of our Faith

Spiritual Truths

Salvation: The only way to gain salvation is through repentance of our sins through Jesus Christ. The blood of Christ was shed on the Cross for our sins. When we believe in the death and resurrection of Christ as payment for our sins, then we receive salvation. Salvation is a gift from God, therefore it cannot be earned by our good deeds.

Prayer: It is our sole communication with God. Prayer is extremely imperative to a successful relationship with the Father.

Baptism: This is an open expression and evidence of one’s salvation. It is a means of symbolism by going into the water as the old person you once were and coming out of the water as a clean vessel, ready to be used by God. Baptism is not a substitute for the prayer of salvation meaning that the act of baptism alone does not guarantee one’s salvation without proper confession and belief of Christ’s death and resurrection.

Communion: We believe that communion is a symbolic time in which the bread and juice represents Christ’s body and blood. Communion is taken in remembrance of the price that Christ paid for our sins on the Cross. It is not something to be taken in habitual sin nor is it meant to be taken on a schedule, but rather its importance is to be honored and revered when it is taken.

Repentance: Man was created in the image of God but through sinful disobedience man fell from grace. It is through Jesus that man can now be restored back into right fellowship with the Father through the prayer of repentance. Repentance does not mean that we are perfect, but it does mean that we have acknowledged the sin in our lives and have made a commitment to turn from our sin and pursue God. It is through genuine repentance that we receive forgiveness of our sins.

Prayer of Salvation

It is the will of God that everyone spend eternity in close fellowship with Him here on earth and in heaven. The Bible says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:9-10, 13). Because God could only accept a perfect, sinless sacrifice, and because He knew that we could not possibly accomplish that, He sent His Son to die for us and pay the eternal price.;For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life; (John 3:16).
If you know that your life in incomplete and that you want to be close to God and have Him come live inside of your heart then wait no further. Repeat the prayer aloud and believe in your heart!

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I know that I am not perfect, nor will I ever be, but you did not call for me to be perfect, you just want my heart and today I am inviting you to come live inside of it. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord and Savior, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus; name I pray, Amen.

Now we invite you to visit our church and get connected with other believers in order to help you along your new journey as a Child of God. Welcome to the family
